Now, let's take a look at how you can control your Individual-Email Notifications on a Thread-by-Thread basis (be sure to read the prior post, first). This works in concert with the Mass Subscriptions ... but the Individual-Notification settings "rule" if there is a conflict.

The method is simple. First, View the Thread for which you would like to alter the Notifications settings. In the top right, click the Notify button (first graphic). The second graphic shows the panel that pops up, where you make your selection. Then, press Submit, and you're done!

The panel has four choices ... the FOURTH choice is the DEFAULT. It means simply that this Thread will "follow the crowd" for this Room ... it will react to posts according to how the Room Mass Subscription (see post above) is set.

The OTHER THREE choices will OVERRIDE this Thread's Room's Mass-Subscription setting, and will set the Thread to respond with either of the two immediate-email options, or will force this Thread NOT to create emails (Deactivate), even if its Room is Mass-Subscribed.

Once you press Submit, this new choice takes over. You can change it any time you want. If you subsequently change the Room subscription, it will NOT change the setting on this Thread. However - note this - if the Thread is set to the default fourth option, then any change you make to this Thread's Room Mass-Subscription will affect this Thread.

It's all under YOUR control!

OK, that's pretty much all you need to know. However, after some time passes, and you've messed around Notification settings for a bunch of individual Threads ... you might just want to have a look-see at which ones are currently set ... or you might want a quick way to Unsubscribe from several of them, without having to actually visit each thread. There's a nifty way to do this.

As described in the first post, open your My Settings Panel, and this time press the big square button on the bottom right that says Unsubscribe (first graphic). It will open up a panel that lists all the Threads which you currently have
